Rachelle Albright is owner of Albright Management Strategies,
LLC. She was previously Chief Executive Officer of F.
H. Myers Construction Corp. and held various leadership positions
with the firm during her 21-year tenure. Her areas of expertise are operations,
project management, scheduling and estimating.
Rachelle is a 1995 graduate of LSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Upon graduation, Rachelle was hired by Dowell Schlumberger as a field engineer in the New Orleans office. In 1996 she joined the family construction company, as a project manager/estimator. In 2004, she was promoted to Vice President of Project management and in 2012, she became Chief Executive Officer. After 21 years with the firm, she embarked on a new endeavor to pursue her passion of construction management. She recognizes that many owners are in need of someone with construction experience to serve as their representative of their building projects. The success of a project can be measured through the collaborative and teamwork environment, which at time can be challenged with unexpected circumstances during the course of construction. Rachelle is highly motivated to provide her management and construction expertise to her current and future clients.
Rachelle has been an active member in the construction industry over the past two decades. She served as a Board of Directors member for The New Orleans Bayou Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors from 1999-2007. In 2006 she served as the chairman of the board and was the first female chairman in the chapter’s 35-year history. She was also recognized by City Business as one of the 2007 and 2012 Women of the Year and served as a member of the Nex Gen Council for GNO, Inc. In 2011 and 2012, she also served as a board of trustee member for The Academy of the Sacred Heart from 2012-2017 and chaired their buildings and grounds committee from 2012-2016. She is a Reach for the Stars Society member for Volunteers of America Southeast Chapter. She has also been active with St. Michael Special School for many years and served as the chair for the Blue Rose Ball in 2016.
"We consider Rachelle to be the most astute and organized Project Manager we have encountered in our over 30 year history. With a deep and grounded understanding of critical path scheduling, means, methods and the costs of construction in our market, Rachelle’s strengths also include an ability to solve and negotiate issues that arise during design and construction in a diplomatic manner that brings all parties to a mutually beneficial solution. We highly recommend her and look forward to working with her again in future."
